This page explains what this wiki is, where its content comes from, and what it may and may not be used for. It is the only page here that states something true about the outside world.

What this is

This is a demonstration and development data set for BlueSpice Galaxy. It exists so that the software can be shown, tested and developed against a body of content that looks and behaves like a grown company wiki — with page histories, metadata, controlled documents, meeting minutes, spreadsheets, process diagrams, books, blogs and uploaded files — instead of against a handful of empty test pages.

Everything in it describes a fictional company called Meridian Instruments GmbH.

Fictional company, fictional people

• The company, its sites, products, projects, IT systems, customers and suppliers are invented.
• All persons named in this wiki are fictional characters. Their names, roles, e-mail

 addresses and statements were made up for this data set.

• Any resemblance to actual companies, organisations, products or persons — living or dead —

 is purely coincidental and unintended.

• All e-mail addresses use the domain meridian-instruments.example. The

 .example top-level domain is reserved by
 RFC 2606 and can never be registered, so no message
 sent to an address in this wiki can reach anyone. Phone numbers, VAT and register numbers,
 certificate numbers and accreditation IDs follow the same principle: they are formatted
 realistically but are not real.

AI disclosure

The content of this wiki was generated by an AI system. This applies to the article text, the controlled documents, the meeting minutes, the blog posts, the metadata, the spreadsheet figures and the process descriptions alike.

What follows from that:

• All information here is fictitious, synthetic and factually wrong. Statements that sound

 like facts — measurement tolerances, prices, revenue figures, audit findings, ISO clause
 references, legal or safety instructions — are inventions that happen to be plausibly shaped.

• Nothing here is professional advice of any kind, and nothing describes a real quality,

 environmental or information security management system.

• Deliberate imperfections are part of the design: some pages are outdated, some are stubs, some

 are badly written, some contradict each other slightly, and some revisions introduce a typo
 that a later revision fixes. That is intentional realism, not an oversight.

• The page histories are synthetic as well. Authors, timestamps and edit summaries were assigned

 by a generator; no person named as an author of a revision ever wrote anything.

The distinction matters for licensing, so it is spelled out precisely.

Three consequences worth stating explicitly:

1. This data set contains no photographs. The files that look like site, product or event

 photos are generated graphics. They therefore show no identifiable persons and carry no
 personality rights.

1. No third-party images, documents, texts or other assets were downloaded or embedded.

 The generator can optionally fetch royalty-free images; that option was not used for this data
 set. Had it been used, every asset would be listed with source, author, licence, retrieval date
 and checksum in the credits file that ships with the data set
 (_files/CREDITS.md), which currently records "none".

1. The only third-party components involved are tools and formats, not content: the

 PhpOffice libraries, mPDF, Matplotlib and Pillow as generators, the DejaVu Sans system font for
 lettering inside generated images, and the open specifications the files conform to (MediaWiki
 XML export, OMG BPMN 2.0, the Univer workbook format). The NeoWiki schemas that the metadata
 refers to are part of BlueSpice Galaxy itself.

Data protection

No personal data was used to create this wiki. The 250 user accounts, their names, e-mail addresses, departments and group memberships are generated. Because no real person is described, there is no data subject whose rights could be affected — the Data protection at Meridian page and everything else on the subject inside this wiki is itself fictional content.

Reusing or extending this data set

The data set is reproducible: the generators run from a fixed seed, so re-running them yields the same wiki. It can be extended with further pages without touching what already exists. The specification, the decisions taken while generating it, the company canon and the import instructions are kept with the data set, not in the wiki.

If you add content here, keep it consistent with the fiction — and keep this page accurate.
